Center for Cognitive Computing Systems Research-Website Design
The Center for Cognitive Computing Systems Research is a collaborative effort between the University of Illinois and IBM right here on campus. My challenge was to revamp their website completely, aligning it with their fresh brand vision while ensuring a seamless user interface and experience. It was essential to preserve the original content that made them unique. To accomplish this, I teamed up with two brilliant computer science majors who converted our ideas into reality. For the wireframe, I primarily utilized Figma, exploring numerous iterations, mock-ups, and concept proposals until we settled on a final layout that hit the mark.
These were my very first ideas, we went with a navigation bar on top, but had the most visited pages in quick buttons. we kept the news articles the main focus of this page.
This was their first website. Their main grievances were, they wanted less white, more interactive, not just one page that scrolls forever, better organization of content.
