AbbVie Innovation Center- Recruiting Posters
After assessing their student intern population, AbbVie noticed a surplus of STEM students and struggled to fill their "creative" positions. They realized that many people tend to separate creativity and art from science. That's where I came in. I was entrusted with creating catchy headlines and posters to pique the interest of students majoring in fine and applied arts. We plastered these posters all over the College of Art and Design, and the response was fantastic. Over 100 people scanned the QR codes, and as a result, we saw an increase in the number of creative students. Pretty cool, huh?
This is an example of a first draft of a poster. After discussion, the client said they wanted too keep the colors in the background, they also wanted more variety in the word sizes, but still wanted are to stand out.
For the final draft, we decided to mute the colors, and use a drop shadow to make the word Art the center of attention. They also wanted innovation to be the same color, but not as emphasized.
